AEROSMITH Frontman Throws His Name Behind 'Conquer Cancer' Campaign

According to The Boston Globe, AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler is throwing his name behind a campaign to get a "Conquer Cancer" license plate approved in the state. Tyler was at the Marshfield Fair this past weekend helping to collect signatures.

As previously reported, Tyler lent his vocals to the track "I Want to Take You Higher" on the upcoming SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE tribute album, "Different Strokes By Different Folks", due on September 27 via Epic/Legacy. According to an official press release, the album includes "one-of-a-kind collaborations from John Legend & Joss Stone w/ Van Hunt; Buddy Guy & John Mayer; Steven Tyler (AEROSMITH) w/ Robert Randolph; Chuck D (PUBLIC ENEMY),D'Angelo & Isaac Hayes; and Big Boi (OUTKAST) feat. Sleepy Brown & Killer Mike alongside songs by chart-toppers Janet Jackson, MAROON 5, will.i.am (THE BLACK EYED PEAS),THE ROOTS, Moby, Devin Lima (LFO) and more." Producers include Randy Jackson, Nile Rogers and Steve Jordan.
